Buy VPS with crypto

Pay for a virtual server in Bitcoin, not a bank card.

This page is the working list: VPS and cloud front-ends that take cryptocurrency. Filter further for Lightning, Monero, or hosts that never ask for a card.

Most hyperscalers will not let you buy a VPS with crypto until a credit card or PayPal account is already on file. The hosts below invert that: crypto is the checkout, and fiat is optional or absent.

Three payment shapes show up in the notes. Self-hosted invoices (BTCPay Server, LND, SHKeeper) keep the merchant in the loop and usually skip processor KYC. Custodial gateways (NOWPayments, CoinGate, Cryptomus, Plisio) are convenient and sometimes add Lightning, but the processor can still freeze or identify you. Manual “contact us for BTC” shops work, slowly.

If your goal is only “no credit card,” almost everyone on this page qualifies. If the goal is VPS no KYC or an anonymous VPS, turn those filters on — crypto payment alone is not anonymity.

Questions people bring to the scope

Which coins can I use to buy a VPS?+

Bitcoin is the baseline. Lightning is common for small invoices. Monero shows up at privacy-first hosts. Some resellers also take ETH, LTC, USDT, and long altcoin lists through NOWPayments or CoinPayments. Prefer BTC, LN, or XMR when privacy is the goal.

Are crypto VPS payments instant?+

Lightning is usually instant. On-chain BTC waits for confirmations (often 1–3). Monero is typically available after 10 confirmations. Manual or “contact us for BTC” hosts can take hours. If you need the server the same hour, pick automated BTCPay or LN checkout.

Do I still need a credit card?+

Not at the providers listed for crypto checkout. Some large clouds (for example Vultr) require a card on file before they will credit a BitPay deposit — that is why this directory flags them and points you at resellers instead.
